On December 2, 2008 we lost the one I'd been closest to for the last 30 years. Mitzi died (really only her body) in her sleep. She'd been fighting Diabetes, congestive heart failure (retaining lots of water), high blood pressure and a huge fibroid tumor (maybe cancer). It was too much for anyone to take!
